TLDR; unorganized, cold food. Great selection of unique unlimited teas. We have gone to two tea experiences now. We thought maybe the first experience was a fluke but now that we’ve gone again, it’s pretty consistently an underwhelming experience. The check-in process is unorganized. There isn’t a clear line. Someone shows up and takes the group that first talks to them. No one knows what’s going on until it’s cleared out. The table wasn’t properly nor consistently set (missing a spoon, missing milk for the tea). Had to ask for spoons for both individuals. Butter is served with the scones but without a utensil to use it. We used the same spoon we stirred our tea with. We had a server tell us they were going to be helping us. We watched them walk around us as if they were going to take our order. They walked away. We had to flag down the server to get them to take our order. They seemed alarmed we wanted to order. Didn’t get an eta on when the food would arrive, and it wasn’t served in the order of seating nor arrival. The server didn’t explain what the food was, which is a crucial part of a high tea experience. The food itself was underwhelming. Both times we received cold food. First time, cold grilled cheese. This last time, cold crispy mushroom popovers. The scones were soft, the flavors were weak. We were guessing what things were. We had someone with a nut allergy in our group and we weren’t told what had nuts. When we asked our server they couldn’t tell us 1) what the pastry was nor 2) if it contained nuts. They had to send someone else out to let us know. Overall, the set up seemed a bit unorganized. The tea itself was good and there was a nice selection of only tea. We understand it’s high tea, but there’s usually a non tea option such as hot chocolate or lemonade. We had a picky drinker in our group and there was nothing they wanted to consume other than the provided water. The ambiance was also nice. The music volume was inconsistent; at times too loud and made holding a conversation difficult. For $53, you might as well go to downtown to the grand America for organized high tea with great service and adequately temperatured appetizers.

Had the cutest experience here at the tea party event! It was very straightforward and the people were so nice and welcoming. The ambiance was incredible and fun. Me and my partner had a wonderful time!

Stone Gate Events provided the best experience that I could have wished for. The staff was marvelous to work with during planning, and attentive and helpful during our afternoon tea party. They exceeded my expectations in every way possible.

We had an amazing experience with Johnny Mosqueda during the tour he gave us of the event venue, Stone Gate. From the very beginning, Johnny was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and full of energy. You can truly feel how passionate he is about this place and how much he enjoys helping people bring their events to life. Stone Gate is a very spacious, modern, and innovative venue with plenty of options for all kinds of events, from parties to more formal celebrations. One thing we really loved is that it offers accessible pricing, great availability, and ample parking, which makes everything so much easier for guests. A huge plus is that the venue also has a separate room just for kids, perfect for when they don’t want to stay in the main party. That detail really makes a difference and shows how well thought-out the space is. Overall, between the beautiful venue and Johnny’s outgoing, helpful, and enthusiastic personality, the whole experience was excellent. We highly recommend both Stone Gate and Johnny Mosqueda if you’re looking for a great place and great service for your next event.

Johnny was very welcoming, detailed, and efficient. I feel very confident that he will go above and beyond expectations! The venue is just beautiful!!!!
