What makes Stone Gate different from other venues?

Like most other venues in Utah, we pride ourselves on excellent and personable customer service, but we take it a step further. We take care of many details very few venues offer to their clients. Our affordable, full-service weddings take the stress and worry out of your event while providing beautiful food, decor, and amenities to complement your most special day! Stone Gate offers a charming, non-denominational wedding chapel for ceremonies, two large spaces with great character that can be combined into one huge space, as well as an outdoor space for warm-weather events.

    With the ability to accommodate banquets for over 200 guests and flowing receptions for up to 1,500 guests, Stone Gate offers all of our services on a grand scale. 

Does Stone Gate allow alcohol?

We do NOT allow alcohol on the property. Hopefully, this won’t be a deal breaker for you as we often have brides and grooms choose to have a “dry” ceremony and dinner/reception and then hold a separate “after party” at a different location. If this is something that is important to you, please feel free to reach out to us as we have a list of venues in Utah County who do permit alcohol on their property.

How many guests can Stone Gate accommodate?

We can comfortably accommodate parties for a sit-down dinner of 150 guests in the Great Hall, 200 guests in the Hidden Grove, 100 guests in the Grand Ballroom, and 250 guests by opening up the Great Hall and Grand Ballroom into one large space.

For flowing receptions, Stone Gate can accommodate up to 400 guests in the Great Hall or Hidden Grove, 300 guests in the Grand Ballroom, and up to 700 guests by opening up the Great Hall and Grand Ballroom into one large space.

Our Candlelight Chapel comfortably seats 100 guests.

What will my wedding coordinator do?

Stone Gate Wedding Planners are unlike any other! They go above and beyond to ensure that you and your guests can just relax and enjoy your event. Your personal wedding coordinator will sit down with you to plan the timeline for your event, the floor plan, as well as the linens and decor. She will then be at your event to make sure everything runs smoothly so you don’t have to worry about a thing! If you are holding a wedding ceremony or ring exchange, your wedding coordinator will help you and your wedding party with a rehearsal before your event. She will also be able to help you select other off-site wedding services and amenities (i.e. The Gown, Flowers, etc.) for an additional charge. A Stone Gate Wedding Planner is no ordinary event hostess – with her, you’ll be in the best of care! The best thing of all? We include your own Personal Wedding Planner in every Stone Gate package!

What is the deposit to reserve my event date and space? What if I want to change my date?

A non-refundable $500 deposit reserves your event date, time, and space. These monies do go towards the final balance of your invoice which will be due two weeks prior to your event. You may change your date up to 120 days before your original event date without an additional charge. If you are within your 120 days, you will lose your original $500 deposit and will need to pay an additional $500 deposit to hold the new date.

Is it possible to do both the luncheon and the reception at Stone Gate?

Absolutely! We do it all the time. Having everything you would ever need for any event under one roof, makes it easy for us to switch over quickly from one event to another, changing the entire look of the room within minutes if needed.

Does Stone Gate have a sound system? What types of devices can plug in?

Yes, we have a sound system in each reception hall so you can just plug in your personalized playlist in whatever format you desire!

Does Stone Gate offer any discounts?

Yes, we do! We offer mid-week and short engagement discounts.  We also offer a Military Discount for those who are actively serving or in the Reserves. Thank you for your service! Please call us for details.

Does Stone Gate allow outside catering?

Although we used to allow outside catering and self-catering, after putting on hundreds of weddings, we have since changed our policy. Our number one goal is to serve you, your family, and all of your guests and to make sure everyone enjoys a carefree celebration. We discovered that when people chose to bring in outside catering or self-cater, they were always stressed about their food. Would the food be out on time? Was there going to be enough? Would the catering company stay to the end of the event to finish cleaning up, mop the kitchen floor, and take all of the waste out? It was just too much. If you are the kind of bride who wants to have your family or friends worry about bringing the food and all that goes with it (dishware, serviceware, drink dispensers, people to clear the tables, and people to take out the waste and clean the kitchen and buffet areas), we may not be the best fit for you. If, however, you want to ensure those who come to celebrate with you are able to enjoy the evening as well, we would be honored to take care of all of those fine details.
